Blog #2

My first favorite website would have to be the Atlanta Braves website. I have been a Braves fan since I was very young, and I like to check out players stats, schedules, standings, and other facts about the team. I find this site very user-friendly, and helpful when I am interested in how particular players are performing. This site also has links to other teams in the National and American Leagues, which is nice when you want to find out how the upcoming competition has been performing lately. The web page has easy to read font, and easy to use "global navigation tabs." This site helps me stay connected and informed about the "best team in baseball." haha.

My second favorite site would have to be J.J. Huddle. I enjoy checking this site out from time to time for a.......time when I need a laugh. I have helped coach my home town's high school softball team for the last two years, and Urbana Softball is always mentioned on this site. The message board is always briming with ideas on who will be the team to beat each season. It is always nice to see many comments from people who haven't the slightest idea how to even play the game of softball, let alone comment on it. The site also includes updated scores, rankings, and pictures. It is easy to navigate, and includes font that is easy to read.

My third favorite site would be CNN. I like to visit this site to find out the important breaking news in the U.S., World, Weather, and Entertainment. This site is user-friendly, by allowing users to search for news, click on the recent top stories, and/or click on the subject they wish to look for stories. It also contains links to other top news sites. I use this site as my connection to the top stories around the world, when I am not near a television. The font is easy to read with bold letters for the important pieces, and colored text to separate the links from one another.

Very cool on your favorite websites. JJ huddle and CNN are definitely two of the websites I visit almost on a daily basis. My husband is a wrestling person and I like to keep up to date with what things are going on.

CNN is also a very important source for "credible" information. Both websites have great layouts and are readable.

Well, what is a day around here without finding someone who also visits JJHuddle. My how that site has grown! Oh, and I can forgive you for being a Braves fan. I can't stand the Braves being a Reds fan, but I do respect what they have been able to do over the last 15 years. Sorry to hear they will be paying Mike Hampton to not pitch for another season!

That is so funny that so many of us love JJHuddle! I am reading that constantly, but I guess if you have a love of Ohio sports, who doesn't know about the Huddle?

JJ huddle can be trouble...if you read all the parents gossip. I grew up watching the braves play baseball. I think it was because of TBS being the only chanel to carry baseball everyday.
